Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney got his scoring boots back in the right time before the vital Champions’ League clash against Roma as he grabbed 2 goals. Carlos Tevez and of course Cristiano Ronaldo scored the other two goals. The whole forward line were in devestating form and they kept pouring down with attacks, especially in the first half. Kaka

An amazing player, a coach’s dream and a strong religious man. I mean who wouldn’t like this guy? EVERYONE wants him in their team, he never seems to say nothing bad about anyone and he single-handedly wins games for you when top of his game, as last season’s UEFA Champions’ League and more recently, the World Clup Competition. With the return to regular national team action, he’s playing better than ever in the Brazil yellow jersey and scoring goals on a regular basis. Milan thought they have got 3 strikers, so they didn’t bother buying another, instead opting for youth and signing Pato. But unfortunately, the two-time Fifa player of the year has just played one game, and although he received praise for his performance, he was back in the treatment table after injuring himself in warm-up out of all things in the game with Benfica, where he was supposedly going to make his Champions League debut for AC Milan.

What a mistake that turned out to be for Milan. Now with the lack of attacking power, Inzaghi and Gilardino only being able to score against weak teams, the team looks to be more and more dependent on Kaka and now they languish well below their rivals Inter in the league table. I guess Milan has no excuse this time, as they don’t have any points deducted this time. I think they will most probably again focus on the Champions’ League and a fourth place finish. Well atleast they can take pleasure to the fact their best buddy Inter Milan is having problems with their own Brazilian as well.

So what’s up withe Ronaldo? I think (more…)
