Liverpool pretty much sealed fourth place in the league with the win as that man, Fernando Torres has scored again for Liverpool. After a few years jumping clubs and trying to find his scoring touch, Fiorentina decided to swoop for the Italian, Christan Vieri, which was a surprise one, as Fiorentina seemed to sign mostly young talent. Vieri, the former European player of the year and one time, most expensive player in the world when joining Inter Milan, has finally started getting on the score sheet a bit more often, but is now accustomed to a new role, as super-sub. He has started only 2 games in the league, but has come on to the pitch 12 times from the bench. But nothing is more valuable than experience and the Italian is used more regularly in the UEFA Cup, and he showed once again why when he scored the winner against Mlada Boleslav to secure a 2-1 win and secure a place in the last 32 of the competition.
