Ronaldo, fall from grace…hard!

Happier times for Ronaldo

So when all thought Ronaldo was back with with his fine form in the second half of last season for Milan(unfortunately no champions’ league medal for him), he suffers a heap of injuries this season. Milan thought they have got 3 strikers, so they didn’t bother buying another, instead opting for youth and signing Pato. But unfortunately, the two-time Fifa player of the year has just played one game, and although he received praise for his performance, he was back in the treatment table after injuring himself in warm-up out of all things in the game with Benfica, where he was supposedly going to make his Champions League debut for AC Milan.

What a mistake that turned out to be for Milan. Arsenal win 2-1 against Steaua Bucharest

Category: English Premier League, Europe, Football Uncut, UEFA Champions' League – Author: Marouf – 2:53 am

Arsenal capped off a fine victory against Steaua Bucharest with goals from Abou Diaby and the impressive Niklaus Bendter. Van Persie also made a return and played one hour, and looked like he never was out of action for the past 2 months due to a knee injury. Theo Walcott also impressed and Bendter with his goal and good link up play did no harm to his chances to getting more starts, definitely placing himself above Eduardo for now.
